FESTIVAL TEDDIES

Click on the image below to get more details of this fun event teddy parachute
Find your teddy or any favourite soft toy and give them the adventure of a life time!

Ahead of the Festival; design and make a parachute for Teddy, (there are lots of suggestions on the internet – just Google ‘parachutes for teddy bears’) and select and create your design.

Come to the Festival with Teddy and his or her parachute and between 2pm and 3.30pm on Sunday 29th June, you will be able to see your cuddly friend parachute from the Tower!

All Teddies can have their photograph taken before and/or during their flight and will receive a certificate to mark their achievement.

Prizes will be awarded for the Best Dressed and Best Parachute Design. Teddy will go up in a special elevator and released by a highly trained ‘Flight Coordinator’.

Go and find Teddy now and get creative with parachute making!

Please note due to health and safety, only Teddy will be able to go up the Tower itself.

BUNTING THANKS!

A big thank you to the 28 ladies who helped create our Festival bunting, which was admired by all who came.
We managed to make 415 pieces - fantastic!

Now the Festival is over, the bunting will be sewn into blankets and donated to charities.
Thank you again to all who have helped with this project.

The workshops run by Robin Elgar have produced some spectacular banners - see a slideshow of some of the results here

Thank you for your entries for the photographic Competition "People at work and play in the Parish of North Mymms"
Open to anyone living or working in the Parish, the twelve best entries will be included in a 2015 Parish calendar.
